BIO
I was born in Seville, Spain, where I grew up doing what I love most, studying music, and dancing. Although I have a degree in Philology, and a Master in Communication and PP.RR, art is been always an important part of my life I am a self-taught artist living currently in Zug (Switzerland) and I work in my studio at home.
After an active period in acting, and in communication, it is from 2008 onwards and after my experience working on TV, theater and cinema when I started feeling more appealed and committed to the necessity of expressing and canalizing my creative impulse through the painting. I started to follow my stream of consciousness, feeling more and more in contact with myself.
In the last decade, painting progressively developed into my main activity and interest. Some of my works are already present in Italian, German, Spanish and Swiss private collections.

STATEMENT
To me Art gives a sense to everything. It is essential, central, basic core. It allows me to convey freely in my personal way. It lessens the inexorable passing of Time, which used to aesthetic purpose offers me the opportunity to connect to my intimate self, and to connect to the world.
I love painting abstract landscapes, I live in front of a lake, surrounded by mountains, and close to the woods, this environment, and Nature in general are my main source of inspiration. I like observing in detail the changes of light that bring different colours to the innumerable sceneries. To me is simply magic.
I love to represent the deconstructed image that I have in mind to construct, to embrace a new one through the texture. This one helps me with the use of different colours to light up a continuous movement, that goes beyond what is realistic.
It is a language that has its own rules, that tries to go further away the painting, and embodies my wish to fully be myself, to be present in the world. ‘I am the enhancer’ of what is going on.
It is really valuable to me when people want to share their thoughts and emotions, entering in a dialogue of mutual exchange where everyone is free to feel and convey what a work evokes or provokes.
MY INFLUENCES
I am inspired by ‘Everything’. People, traveling, knowing new cultures, other artists, all kinds of disciplines, philosophy, literature, dancing, music, photography, cinema, poetry, architecture…, everything is connected. And I feel this connection is like a continuum under different perspectives.
All images, and information brings together when I am working. It is very interesting when sometimes I recognise a connection between my work and somebody else's, not knowing this last one before starting mine.
I consider my works are mainly influenced by modern and contemporary artists. In particular by abstract expressionism like Gerhard Richter, or neoexpressionism such as Anselm Kiefer.
Goya’s pinturas negras are always present, as well as the light in Sorolla’s paintings or the french Impressionists like Claude Monet.
I like playing with insinuation, giving hints to the viewers to feel free to imagine and create their own discourse, and therefore following Miles Davis quotation: ‘Don’t play what’s there. Play what is not there.’
TECHNIQUE
Most of my paintings start with the research in the texture of a landscape by using gesso, then I use bright acrylic colours, both dense and diluted in different layers, creating abstract landscapes full of colours, that prompt accurate micro universes that dialogue among themselves.
This technique allows me to bring dimension and perspective to the painting, that I try to combine into a global feeling of harmony and balance. My Technique is constantly enriching. It is the use of former ways of experimentation that brought me to the point I am now.
Randomly I have been painting since always, but the turning point was when I started painting oil on a canvas already painted. It was very interested to give a new life to an old painting without covering completely the previous work, and therefore being a part of the new one.
At the beginning I was very interested in faces, like if they were skin landscapes. But then it was my connection to nature, being appealed to natural elements as stones, rolling stones, sand, and earth and I started collecting them from different places, until one day I came up with the idea of use them in a ‘painting’ made of stones, as I define it.
I can not resist the beauty of each single stone with its own colours and veins. And I composed several portraits. As these ‘paintings made of stones’ play with shape, and I was interested at that moment in molding, I decided to choose interesting shape stones and combine them, to built up sculptures in balance, standing up, made mostly of three pieces, it is very interested how harmony and balance are intimate interweaved. What is first balance or harmony ? or is it just the other way around?.
The more I live, the more I am inspired, and want to explore different things. The trip just began! live in Zug (Switzerland) and I work in my studio at home.
I started painting and expressing myself with colour and form as a personal passion, as a way to make tangible what in my imagination takes place, to give form to my inspiration.
After an active period in acting, and in communication, I started to follow my stream of consciousness, a strong impulse to express my creativity, feeling more and more in contact with myself.
In the last decade, painting progressively developed into my main activity and interest.
Since 2020 my works can be seen in 4ART application, in its virtual gallery. Some of my works are already present in Italian, German, Spanish and Swiss private collections.

I am always working on new ideas. The more you work the more inspired you get.
